Now..you sound like a pro..
do you know how to get different themes on my homepage? for example..
make the search bars look different,
new weather apps, wallpapers..
that sort of thing?

You could start with a home replacement app (ADW launcher, GDE, Open Home etc) but if you want more in depth customization, you need to root.
