When I go into Settings- Applications- Manage Apps and sort by running there are programs running that I don't use and have never used. For instance Footprints and Stocks. How would I stop those programs from running? If I close them with Astro they just start right back up. Its a little annoying having things running, even if it is in the background, that I don't need or use.

Nothing can be done till get root. Then we can finally delete those worthless apps.

Appreciate it, I didn't know if maybe I could clear the data or something to that effect.

there shouldnt be any data to clear if you havent touched those apps. they are pesky, running anonymous processes that arent called by the user:rolleyes:
