Help! I can't answer calls because I use the alarm clock feature and it keeps on coming up first when a call comes in. I would pull my Droid out of the holster, sees a call, but if I fiddle and can't answer within 1 sec the screen switch over to the clock. By the time I figure out how to get back to the call it's too late.

Is there a better way? Thanks!

I use the clock alarm feature and that never happens to me.

Are you sure another program is not trying to make that come up?

    Are you rooted or stock?

Your holster probbaly has a magnet that is putting the phone in the alarm/dock mode. If that's not the case, I dont know what would be causing the problem.

Yes! You're right! The holster does have a magnet. Is there a way to turn the clock on/off when I have it in the holster? I'm assuming that's the problem?

    Thanks for the advice!!

AFAIK, there is no way to "turn off" the clock when a magnet is present. Anyone else have any ideas?

I bought a Droid holster from Verizon on Launch Day that has a velcro closure. No magnets or metal. Problem solved... highly recommend it. :)

That's probably a good idea on the new holster. But I didn't have this problem until the phone got updated to Froyo and me start using the alarm clock. Is there a way to not use the alarm but something else?

    I'm rooted but using the verizon's 2.2.1

    Thanks!
