I flashed test.1 in 6.0.2.7 pa recovery then used app to boot to new recovery. It booted into new recovery but it factory reset when I rebooted. Its very pink. Gonna try #2 now.

i think it starts the wipe before it boots into cwm by deleting the file table or whatever it's called in android because it does it real quick. when you do the key combo and get the confirmation screen, i thinks it in that partition and can't be fixed in the recovery itself.

Darn! Motion is gonna be difficult to get true recovery on it. The pink is fixable with custom graphics.c which I can get from CM.

So it looks like it's back to the drawing board.

Thank you all for testing. ;)

Also, recovery doesn't see sd card, and mounting it doesn't change it.

OP updated with test version 3.

This one is a touch version compatible with firmwares c,d,e,f

I'm hoping this one wont wipe data (that is the goal).

As always do a backup first. Please let me know your outcome.

Why do you think you may have flashed it wrong?

I see. You're not suppose to use the reboot recovery option. Just flash it with 2nd init and then reboot the phone.

Don't worry about it. I'll see if someone else can test so I can get a definitive answer. Thanks for trying.
