There has to be a way but I cannot find a clear report of somebody doing it. I have loads of apps, and custom directories (folders) etc. So just powering up the 64GB one, logging into the same google account, and restoring the backup, won't work. That just restores basics like Contacts. It doesn't restore app config, 3rd party email app configs, etc. My S6 is rooted (of course ) so it should be possible, with tools like Titanium Backup. But I am pretty sure it won't work because of app licensing issues. After all, the old S6 is still alive... The IMEI will be different but few if any droid apps are IMEI-locked. I don't really mind paying for all the apps again, but don't want to do it one at a time, losing all the app config.
