Root Closet ROM to Stock HTC?

My Desire HD is running stock HTC sense 2.2.1 with software 2.36.405.8. I really like HTC sense but would like the improvements that developers have made to battery life, sound volume etc.

Which ROM is closest to stock HTC with sense 2.1 or 3.0?

I have read Android Revolution is close (5.1.10). Any recommendations?

LeeDroid is pretty good too, you can also patch in some Sense 3.0 elements to it.

I think I'm gonna try ARHD next though so will let you know how they compare.

I went ahead and flashed ARHD 5.1.10

Does what it says on the tin - visually you would not notice any difference from the stock ROM but with root access you can now install Titanium Backup. TB has already saved my bacon!

Coupled with a Astro, TB is pretty funky. I use Astro to batch restore my backed up apps, then TB to manually restore the data associated with certain apps like BT Fon, Angry Birds etc.

Did you flash any of the ARHD theme? Some of those look pretty nice.
