Root CM 11 not flashing

Hey. Whenever I try to flash CM 11 (Android Kitkat) I get a dead robot image and whenever I reboot it goes straight to recovery mode. Luckily, I had a cm 9 zip file so I installed that and it was successful. But why won't CM11 work? I have a rooted Samsung Galaxy tab 2 10.1 P5110.

Maybe the the zip updater-script is damaged or improperly coded or your recovery is damage is some way use TWRP CWM is known to have these install errors use flashify or rasher to flash a twrp recovery if supports your tablet their available on the play store for free
