Hi all,
CM 12.1 allows full access to the external SD card so applications can write freely without having to go via the Storage Access Framework (SAF) for writing into the SD card. That's neat but is there any way to change this behaviour and make it behave like a stock Lollipop ROM and having apps to use SAF in order to be able to write into the external SD card?
I am suspecting a change may be needed in the platform.xml file under the /system/etc/permissions folder and if yes, what should I change?
Device is Samsung Galaxy S2 (GT-i9100) running CM12.1
Thanks,
Kostas
