I'm running build 30 and its ok so far... I keep having random reboots though.

Do you guys just install over the previous build or do a full wipe of data/cache?

I installed 28 over 25 and I've had a couple reboots. I'm using the kernel that came with it, over clocked to 800. It doesn't happen often, my phone probably doesn't like the kernel, you could try a different kernel as well.

Can you post that page? I would love to book mark it too.

I must really love CM 7 because I'm using it for my everyday phone even with the bugs.

Ah, I'm not too worried about DSP and all. I just don't want random reboots and lag and temporary freezes.

I'm using ChevyNo1's LV 1.0 Ghz kernel clocked at 800/250 and ondemand. I think I've said it tons of times in here before, but for my Droid, it truly is the best kernel in terms of performance and battery life balance. Close 36 hours without actually powering down, so it may have 5-10% left when I finally put it back on the charger.

Wireless Tether for Root Users does give me some issues, though. It does cut out after about 15 minutes of use which is irritating. The 3G signal goes in and out, but when I stop tethering and use my phone for browsing, it's perfectly fine.

Not sure if it's the kernel or what...I have it installed to the phone too, not the SD card, so it's not like the phone stops reading the SD card and the app is no longer accessible. Irritating, to say the least.

Trying several different ROMs lately, I installed the #30 nightly and I am VERY impressed with these builds!

    1) Why the lack of all the default "Droid" ringtones and notification tones? Any way to get them?

    2) I love the little details like the screen-off lock animation (the "old TV" effect), but at some point it stopped working. I've checked the settings and it should still be enabled, but it just locks like it used to, without any effect. Has this happened to anyone, and were you able to get it back?
*Edit: I had changed the transition speed in Spare Parts from Normal to Fast. Changed it back to Normal and that fixed the screen-off animation.

    3) Using the rotary lock screen, when the keyboard is pulled out and the screen is in landscape, the rotary lock graphic is messed up.

    4) Reading through this thread, I thought I had read somewhere that the accelerometer issue was fixed, but it doesn't seem to be working for me?
*Edit: Apparently my non-functioning accelerometer was due to a conflict between the phone's homescreen settings and ADW Launcher's homescreen settings. Enabling Auto-Rotation on the phone's homescreen settings while disabling it in ADW Launcher's homescreen settings fixed it (I want the acceleromater to work in all apps, but not my homescreen).

Running great so far, no reboots or freezes or anything. About to install an overclock kernal to hopefully get even more out of this build.

I've rebooted several times since installing. The last CM build I had installed was 6.1, so I made sure to do a FULL wipe of all cache and data partitions, battery stats, etc.

The only problems I have had with the accelerometer is that when I take it off the dock in the mornings apps will not switch from landscape mode, however a reboot fixes it, not sure if anyone else has seen this.

Not a gamebreaker for me as this build is almost perfect in every other way.

I haven't had this happen. But then again, I usually have orientation turned off via the notification power widget. I almost never use landscape mode anymore. And the dock defaults the Droid to landscape mode, so there's no need to turn it on for that.

So on the latest build everything seems to work just fine including camcorder, accelerometer, etc. Any known bugs left or do we have ourselves a bug-free Gingerbread ROM on our hands? I'm impressed considering this is something Verizon most likely never plans to deliver to non-rooted OG Droiders.

The new rotary lockscreen option is awesome, it's reminiscent of the Miui-ROM lockscreen but with a Vanilla Android feel. It's very slick especially given the option to launch any app of your choosing from the lockscreen.

Does anyone have some recommendations for Kernels for these? My phone usually runs a 1k fairly flawlessly. Don't know what will work with GB?

Locked out of your phone? Please read below...

I installed #31 this afternoon and all was well with the world until I started messing around in the settings and screwed the pooch. I use a rotary lockscreen and enabled both "drag down to unlock" and "hide rotary arrows" but did NOT set a custom application. This effectively locked me out of my phone as the rotary lock just kept spinnin'. I tried to call myself and hit the home button but I couldn't get past the lockscreen. I flashed back to #28 (don't know how I missed #29 & #30) and then back to #31 thinking that it would reset the settings that are specific to #31 but I was wrong; still locked out.

    Here is what worked:

I flashed back to #28, checked "custom app starter" and set the custom application to CM settings (I suppose anything will work). Flashed #31 right over #28 again and problem solved. It was a little frustrating but now it's George Goode.

When you set the lockscreen to "drag down to unlock" you have to tap the lock icon in the center of the lock screen and drag down to unlock. The rotary motion is reserved for opening the custom application, which will do nothing if you don't set the custom app.

All you needed to do was tap the center and drag down to unlock.

There was no lock icon in the center; I could see the shading where an icon would normally be but there was nothing there. Dragging down did nothing no matter if I clicked on the left, right or center.

I noticed this back in build 20(ish), but it killed my battery so I turned it off.

Also, does anyone use lockscreen gestures to unlock their phone?
