Root CM6 help and Mount Issues???

I am running the latest version of CM and i will update to CM 6 when it comes out soon. My main question is.....Can i update to android 2.2 now? i want the adobe flash features but it wont let me download it without having Froyo (2.2). Is this something that the new CM update will fix?

Also, my wife just got her new nexus one from a warranty issue. Our laptop is not recognizing it when i mount it with USB. Any ideas?????

thats what i thought i am just having issues. when i reboot and click on the file it goes through the process then says "verification failed" process aborted"...what am i doing wrong?
