Is this coming to the Ally at all? I've read posts with folks anticipating its arrival, but so far the Ally isn't listed under supported devices.

guys i tried building a port but i couldn't get it too compile, and i couldnt get much help from the guys in the CM Irc. if one of you knows how to compile the rom i am willing to help test it.

downside is we have to build it from source. and we need a 2.2 kernel for the ally for CM6 :(

CM6 hit the mirrors and still no word of a port to the Ally. Anyone have any development updates?

Yeah I heard nothing on it at all after someone said that they're building a CM6 ROM, I believe they failed to compile too. Looks like LG is our only hope for FroYo in mid-September, for now.

Me too. I'm guessing we will get froyo within the next three weeks.

Really, Trident, RedFury and Drellisee seem to be the only 'major' devs working on the Ally. If froyo comes to the device from the homebrewers, expect it to come from them. But I'm not sure I'd expect it any time soon.
