Root CM7 and Security question

I finally rooted my phone yesterday after the one year warranty finally expired and must say I am kicking myself for not doing it earlier, but I am having issues with the passkey PIN when I unlock my phone.

For me to be able to get my work email on my phone, the email app (MobileIron and Touchdown) require admin privileges that require I have a password or PIN when I unlock, this wasn't an issue before I rooted because I could set the security set time to take affect after idle for 15 minutes. Now that I am rooted it kicks the required security in each time I lock my phone so each time I unlock I have to input my pin.

Anyone know how to find the option to increase the idle time before the security feature kicks in like how it was on the stock 2.2 ROM?

If you have CM7:

Menu > Settings > CyanogenMod Settings > Lockscreen > Delay and Timeout

This will get you to the screen where you can change how long to delay before enabling the lock screen - you have two options, you can set different delays based on if the screen timed out or if you turn the screen off.

Welcome to root and CM7!
