    Hey everyone,

I am running CM7 7.0.2 and I just received an update through Rom Manager for 7.0.2.1 and I was wondering if there was anyway I could update to it without having to clear everything and start from scratch? This may seem like a dumb question but I'm sorta new to this.

    Thanks :)

No need to wipe, but make a nandroid backup just in case.

Yes, you can. You don't have to wipe everything. Are you installing through ROM Manager or through Clockwork directly?

Ok thanks everyone! And it would be through Rom Manager. So just download it and then restart?

Download, select the "backup existing rom" option.

I made that update without wiping. I've had no problems.

At a minimum...always wipe cache before flashing a new nightly. I recommend wiping davlik as well (in advanced). A full wipe is not required. flashing an update should be painless and easy when done properly.

Yes you need to do a full wipe as 6 is froyo and 7 is gingerbread.
