Hey guys im new here and was drawn by the rooting for this specific phone. Now I followed the walkthrew to the t and when i enter the su command it changes to # but then freezes can some1 help me?

    edit: It install superuser, superuser asks for promission, and I accept. "Yes I rebooted after superuser install." Now when I go back to cmd prompt I enter su and it changes to # then it freezes. I wait a couple minutes and nothing. just cant finish the last commands;
    mount -o remount,rw -t yaffs2 /dev/block/mtdblock5 /system
    cat /sdcard/flash_image > /system/bin/flash_image
    chmod 755 /system/bin/flash_image
    mv /system/etc/install-recovery.sh /system/etc/install-recovery.sh.bak
    mount -o remount,ro -t yaffs2 /dev/block/mtdblock5 /system
    flash_image recovery /sdcard/recovery-2.2.1-joneidy.img

when you type the su look at your home screen on your phone to accept superuser then you will be able to paste the commands.

adb shell enter then su then make sure ur phones screen is not sleep so you can see the accept superuser accept then you should be able to finish

    mount -o remount,rw -t yaffs2 /dev/block/mtdblock5 /system

    cat /sdcard/flash_image > /system/bin/flash_image

    chmod 755 /system/bin/flash_image

    mv /system/etc/install-recovery.sh /system/etc/install-recovery.sh.bak

    mount -o remount,ro -t yaffs2 /dev/block/mtdblock5 /system

    flash_image recovery /sdcard/recovery-2.2.1-joneidy.img

then reboot phone service should return

if you get the # after the su and you dont accept the superuser close the cmd and reopen and start over from

    cd C:\android-sdk-windows\platform-tools

    adb shell

su then when you see # check your phone right away to accept.
