Has anyone figured out a way to get a combined email inbox on their phone? I don't like how I have to switch between accounts. I want it all on one page.

I'm using a gmail account and an exchange account.

It would seem that it will require more data juice for the Gmail account to be live all the time and frankly I do not use the Gmail account that much... I'm definitely not will to add another responsibility to the battery at this time.

    Still would be nice if.....

I just use Gmail to combine my 4 email accounts. You can consolidate email accounts into gmail (configured on your computer) and apply tags to them. This way, you can just use gmail on the phone to check all accounts. You can even add a shortcut to a tagged gmail account to filter a specific account. I now have no need to use the stock mail app. Works pretty well.

Problem with this method is wouldn't all your outgoing messages come from your gmail account? I have a work exchange account so that wouldn't be appropriate.

You can configure GMAIL to use an SMTP account.

Nice thing about combined gmail is a free handy backup of all your email.
