I have the cincy bell blaze, and it currently runs on a 2.1 system. My youth pastor at church has an android that runs on 2.2 (froyo) and I was wondering how to upgrade my phone so that I can use the swype texting feature, or if there is some sort of swype app that will let me use this feature
I'm not positive if your phone can be updated to froyo officially. Try going into settings-about phone-updates, to see if your carrier has a froyo update available. As for a keyboard that's like swype, I personally use flexT9 but there are plenty of keyboards on the market that allow swipe text entry. It's all a matter of preference really. You can also visit the official swype website to sign up for the beta program.
