Help Computer and Incredible

I am new to smart phones so here it goes:

Do I need a PC in order to use the incredible?

I currently have a Mac.

No. It would be nice to have a card reader to transfer music and stuff if you want but you dont have to have a computer at all. Assuming you had an sdcard. The only way to access the internal 8GB is through usb though...

I haven't connected my Incredible to a computer beyond charging through USB.

I think he was implying mac vs PC. OP, you don't need a mac. Just plug your microUSB cable that came with your phone into your USB port on your mac.

no you do not, i have a macbook pro and if you need to transfer any thing bluetooth is your answer
