Computers cannot recognize Barnacle ad-hoc network

Barnacle successfully installed on my phone and broadcasting an ad-hoc wifi network. My computers both recognize it (1 mac 1 pc) but neither can connect to the internet via the barnacle connection. Anyone else have this issue, any way to fix it?
