Now, HTC is our favorite handset manufacturer but is it just me or is their software development a bit slow? Maybe they are average in terms of other handset manufacturers but they certainly aren't exceptionally speedy at getting their software features to market.

How do software updates work? Do you have to upgrade the whole firmware?

Also will 3 be likely to release the upgrade?

    Thanks. :)

Yes, typically OS updates come in the form of firmware upgrades.

I just hope it's a bit simpler and less risky to do than on WinMo devices.

    720p recording?

I think that they mean 720 playback.
