Root confused and need some help rooting

    ok so i have been reading and just don't get this i had a tp and flashed the hell out of it then went to the palm pre and had it rooted but for some reason i just can't get my moment to root i have the kernals already downloaded have sprint updater downloaded and installed i really want to use calkins rom but i need to be rooted please someone help mee this is really staring to piss me off!!!!! i have msn if someone can help that way...J_michaell@hotmail.com

    you dont need to be rooted to use calk's rom just do it from the recovery it has the instructions on the page

    ok i got that to work but still need to root to get wifi tethering to work.

    i thought that caulkin's rom gave you root access... i'm 99% sure it does...

    okay well the ROM should come with wifi tethering at least it did with mine and i download calks version of speedrabbit so just look for it in the applications it should be there if not let me know and i will walk you though the steps to put it on the phone
