Same issue here. Anyone with ideas?
Is connectivity -> ad-hoc networks even possible with Galaxy Mini?

For those who patiently are awaiting my results, I can tell I have put the plans on hold. It's come to my understanding that I need to "root" the phone to use the method described in the article I posted, and if I do this, I will void warranty. I guess I'll suffice with ordinary access points. Hopefully, there will come some official upgrade on Android that will let users connect to ad-hoc networks. I mean, there's no significant security question involved, as far as I can see.

    Cheers!
