Connectify and Gmote(and other Wifi-Remote-Apps)

Hi there,

I'm using connectify to have an ad-hoc connection between my phone and my pc. I am able to connect via Wifi and use the ethernet connection of my pc to connect to the internet. What doesn't work is using apps like Gmote or foodroid, where I have to enter the ip of my pc. I tried entering the wifi-ip of my pc but the connection allways fails. Still, I am able to ping my phone with my pc.

Any ideas?

Can I somehow lookup from which IP the ping command is successfull?
