    Hello,

I recently bought the remote for ituens app. The problem I have is, I cannot link my desire with my imac to use it as a remote. I have paired them via bluetooth but cannot connect them via wifi.
I don't use a wireless router to connect to the internet because of security issues.
Surely as the HTC is a wifi enable device and the imac is a wifi enabled device they should be able to talk to eachother without a third party router in between them.

Itunes is not finding it, i have asked itunes to look for remote devices.

    Any help would be great.

To turn your mac's wifi card into a router it needs to be configured as an ad-hoc device. At this time, Android phones cannot connect to ad-hoc networks and you will need a wireless router sitting between the computer and the phone.
