Help Connecting LG PHEONIX to view files on PC

I Recently gota AT&T LG Pheonix phone. a refurbished one.
I cant seem to tether(usb connect) my phone and computer. says im missing software. but how do i get the software to view my files??

So i tried the bluetooth, it sort of worked but says still its missing files or softwares.
What am i doing wrong, can somebody help me, or better yet Administration please help me. Im leaving on a trip soon and i want to put some songs on my memory chip.
