Help Connecting my samsung to Vizio tv

I am trying to connect my samsung galaxy s6 edge to my Vizio tv using wi if direct. I find the tv on my phone It says connected but I don't know what to turn on the tv so I can see it. I don't have a network button. Do I change the tv to air? How do I find what channel the phone is showing on?

I would suspect that your TV would either have a dedicated wifi direct input of perhaps a built in app. I use a Microsoft Miracast adapter and I won't see anything off my phone until I select the input on the TV the adapter is plugged into.
Because your TV seems to have it built in, some sort of dedicated input or app seems likely.

Is the TV a smart TV? Go to the Bluetooth settings on it and scan for your phone. If not smart TV, Chromecast it
