Considering the Nexus, will older apps run on Android 4?

I'm considering getting the Nexus. Will most current apps run on Ice Cream Sandwich or am I going to have a hard time with apps?

The 4G data drops are due to Verizon's 4G network issues that they're working on. The issues are nation-wide, so it includes all phones, not just the Nexus or not just the Razor.

Yes, many older apps will work on the Nexus, while most app devs are quickly updating their apps to work with ICS. Of course, there are many older apps that won't work, so you'll have to email the dev of that particular app and ask him to update his app to work with ICS.

I'd say about 90% of the apps/games I've played on the Nexus work perfectly. Some of them though, even popular games/apps don't work. To name a couple; Peggle, Plants Vs. Zombies, Xconstruct (working with dev right now to help fix it though), TV Guide, Samsung Remote (WiFi remote for their smart TVs) and at least a few others that I can't remember at the moment.

But I'm sure the devs will update these apps soon to work. I think the Samsung remote not working is funny given that it's Samsungs flagship phone at the moment and they haven't even updated their own apps to work on it :p.

This 100% depends on the developers, if they regularly update their software, then they should have no problem updating them to be compatible with ICS

I noticed last night that neither Google Sky Map nor Star Chart seems to work on my SGN. They open fine but when I turn around the screen doesn't move at all. Anyone else notice this?
