Contact deleted.

Hi,

Whenever I make a new contact on my phone itself, it is deleted after like 1 min(approx.). How to solve this problem? I got this phone like last year, and when I mean contacts, not Google Contacts.

Here are the steps when I make a contact:

1.) I create a contact

2.) Contact saved

3.) After a minute, it gets deleted.

4.) Rage

My understanding is this happens when:

1. autosync is ON
2. no data connection is available

The theory is the phone tries to sync, fails, and flushes the change. If anyone knows better pls chime in.

If this is the case, maybe turn off autosync until you are connected? If you are relying on wifi then something like freeware WiSync may help. Personally, I use non-free Tasker to turn on autosync when wifi is connected.
