Contact icons etc!

My phone doesnt seem to give me an option to use a image as my contact icon is there anyway i can do that? D:

Hi Cinnamon. which phone is it, the method will/can differ between models.

On mine, if I open the contact, hit menu, then edit and press the area where the picture should be, I get the option to add a contact picture. You could also try opening a pic, then either long pressing or hitting menu and then selecting "Set As", then chose contact icon.

The latter method might not work though, as I say, it can differ from phone to phone.

I think it might...be an china knock off i got it for christmas... D: None of those work for me ;( im running 2.3.4 android if that helps?

Are the contacts synced to your gmail account or are they just on the phone? If they are, you could set the contact pic via the gmail account on your PC, then they should transfer down to the phone? Does that make sense/do you need instructions?
