Contact Manager?

Hello,
I'm setting up my wife's Samsung Intercept. Installed Juice Defender, Handcent, and free version of Launcher Pro. So far everything is working well. She wants a very quick way to access calling/texting her favorites. Is there a Contact Manger program that could have individual icons for each person that I could place on an empty home screen?

So, wouldn't have to open the app, just go to the home screen where there would be multiple favorite people icons. I wonder if Launcher Pro Plus has this feature?

I'm going to try Contapps as this looks like it might work. Not sure if I have to first open the app and then select favorites. She's trying to minimize the number of hits before dialing/texting.

Intercept runs 2.1 currently

I really like Quick Access. It gives you individual icons for each favourite and when you tap the contact it shows a nice popup box with the choice to email, sms orphone the contact.
