I use gmail and google docs/contacts/calender and have an HTC Evo

I want to be able to make a list of contacts that I want to call so that I have just select them from a list and call them without having to look up each contact . Is there an app that will do this for me?

Umm, yea the People app lists all your contacts. It's on the very first home screen from the factory, unless you moved it. You can also create a group of your most commonly called contacts, and put a shortcut to that on teh homepage.

I'm using an app called MeContacts. It was free from the app market. It has a few customizable features...you can use it instead of the phone dialer menu so when you press the phone function a screen with the most used contacts (those you select) appear. You can select 24 contacts with their pic or a name to appear on the screen. If you swipe your finger down on the contact screen, it will bring up the regular phone dialer. Hope this is what you were asking for.
