Contact postal address

I have spent a lot of time looking for a way to add postal address to people/contacts on my HTC Inspire. Spoke with HTC support who informed me it is not part of the standard functionality and would require an app. I've tried a couple but no joy. Most recently Contact Lookup with Contact View. I suspect I am not using Contact View properly. Can someone please provide some guidance?

I have addresses for all my contacts on my android phone.

Thanks. Yes, I learned at another resource that addresses are available when your contacts are not from your SIM card -- rather the SD or phone memory.

I have the ability to add postal addresses as well and I'm running an HTC phone with Sense on it like you are. I'm not sure what issue you are having. The default contact management app on HTC Sense has the ability to add postal addresses right from the phone.

Sorry I wasn't clear. When I moved my contacts off the SIM to my phone the problem was fixed.
