Help Contacts and Outlook

When I add a new contact to my phone it does not go to gmail or my outlook sync... what am I doing wrong?

Same here.....not sure what's up with that.

Make sure after you press "New Contact" you change "Contact Type" to Google. By default it's Phone. If you leave it Phone it won't sync to Google. After you change it to Google then you can put the name and other info in.

^^^This. I found this out the hard way after I had to reset my phone. I noticed all the contacts that I put in did not sync with google. Now everything is peachy after putting those contacts in all over again .

BTW, is there a contact widget/app that I can put on my home screen like I could with my og droid? I hate having to hit the phone button and then call history AND THEN contacts, so aggravating.

It should still sync with your Outlook connection though. My dinc did!

Open up your apps menu from the home screen (or any screen) and it's the "People" app.
