After I updated my Android to marshmallow on my Motorola G2 and the respective apps to function properly in the latest platform of Android, I noticed that my call list had been erased and each contact had merged automatically with another existing contact. I had to manually separate each contact, find out the other merged contact and delete the wrongly merged contact. I haven't been able to find a solution to this. Also I didn't want this merged list of contacts to sync to my Google contacts and hence turned off contacts sync immediately. Kindly help with the same.
