Since I installed 2.2 I have had this sync icon in my notification bar
Reading about it I heard that repetition your contacts storage may fix it.
With backup assistant ready and willing I first made a back up onto my se card
Depeting the contacts went ok, the sync disappeared but no contacts. Ok no problem, just restore. At first I choose restore to google. It does nothig. I try again with the same result. Ok, how about to backup assistant.
I had 61 backed up, it restored 511, every email address I've emailed from google.
Hmmmm maybe back up assistant will do better. Figuring sync will download the ones from the server I press that. Now I have 511 being backed up
Uuugh
So now I deleted everything again, and restore my google backup to google, but now ive rebooted and still nothing shows up
Where am I going wrong! It seems like everything I think should he simple blows up on me with this
