I had my contacts syncing from my phone to my gmail account.

I switched to syncing via Deja Office and Companion Link...don't like this as it turns out.

Now, I have my calendar syncing fine, but my contacts will not sync???

Any ideas what I'm doning wrong?

I did a thread search and didn't find anything

thx

hm, not sure. Did you go into settings>accounts & sync>google>check-ON sync contacts?
That should be checked-ON. If it already is.....sorry.

I've done that that. It rotates for awhile just like calendar, but the circular sync icon just sops rotating and stays there. The one on calendar goes away when done.

I changed a contact just to be sure it wasn't working. No sync.

Thx

turn off your device and check it off and check it back on and press sync now maybe that will fix it otherwise you will have to erase everything on your phone(which sucks)

I had troubles syncing with gmail at first, but turned out it just took a little time for my contacts to sync. When I had finally given up on the whole shebang, I logged into my gmail account and viola, my contacts were there! <who knows>!!

I have my contacts, most of them anyway, in both places. I just can't get them to sync now.

I wonder if removing my account on the phone, then signing back in would fix it?

yes but if you do all your data in the phone will be deleted as well so is your option

Nothing has worked so far. By all data, do you mean calendar, contacts and email, or beyond that?

I would like to get this fixed before I do the new update.
