Contacts Sent To Recycle Bin

Hi folks.
My Samsung Galaxy has recently been randomly sending individual contacts to the Recycle Bin. I'm assuming it's some kind of virus but I can't seem to fix the issue which is really frustrating as my contact list is slowly depleting. Has anybody else experienced this?

have you tried rebooting your phone? are your contacts saved in your google account? you should have them all moved to google. this way they are backed up and you will never lose them.

you can also put your phone in safe mode which prevents 3rd party apps from running to see if an app is the culprit.

i doubt your phone has a virus as there really are no viruses on android.....malware, yes......but no viruses.

Malware yes, use a healthy cleaner to dispose of it, always use google for backing up contacts
