Contacts wont show.

Hope this is the right area. My contacts are not showing up after I manually input them on the phone. For instance I just added a friend charlene. Ill scroll trhough the contacts folder to C and she doesnt show. Ill do a contact search and she still doesnt show. If i manually put in the number it will call her, give me her facebook info, first and last, gmail all of it shows up but only when I manually call. I called and then added her to favorite contacts but that is the only way I can get her to show up.


Any idea of what might be going on here and how to fix it?

try this....
1. go to "Contacts"
2. press "Menu" button on phone
3. go to "Display Options"
4. you should see something under choose contacts to display, mine shows my gmail address, press this account.
5. you should see a list of group options.
6. scroll down and check the box for "All Other Contacts"

This fixed my problem and sounds like yours is similar. Hope this helps.

hmmm all that did is add about 700 email addresses as contacts and still didnt add her to the contacts folder that I can see.
