What contract were you offered by t mobile?
I went for the
Seems if you're a new customer you can get one next day, yet existing customers can go swivel for a few more weeks based on my talks with them today.
Did it via MPD as simply got a better deal for myself.
Free HTC Desire: 18 month contract on T-Mobile
24 month contract, 15 quid per month, 3gb fup, 300mins, 300 texts, free booster. Best bit free phone on upgrade.
anyone got the fone for free on 18 month contract?
11.50 per month
I had an ever better deal at first but the guy messed it up
That's crazy cheap. Great haggling to get that
I have. But bear in mind it is a new contract with the network.
I got mine free with
why does everyone seem to go for the free phone?
You know it costs loads more over 24 months right?
I went for the 15 a month - was tempted by the 10 a month.... but decided the difference in total after up front cash for phone of about 2 a month was worth it.
In my opinion 18 month contracts are not worth it either. you need to compare a 24 month contract with an 18 month contract + a 6 month sim only deal.
That does seem like a great deal.... Internet?
I'm hoping to get am upgrade with a free handset and an 18-month contract.
If TMob won't do it, then it's off to Vodafone/Orange I go!
I could actually let my TMob contract expire, then take out a new contract with them. Good idea
I'm just going to buy the phone unlocked then blag o2 for the best sim-only deal they can do. I don't mind signing up to a sim-only deal for 24 months if I can get a
Just got off the phone to them - got my G1 on Flext 25 - 700 mins anytime any network.
Seems like I was too hasty...
This is probably going to be a dumb question but do you need something in your contact to use wifi or is that just a feature of the phone?
I've noticed the o2 simplicity for smartphones tariff's don't include unlimited wifi like the iPhone tariffs. Does that just refer to some free wifi services that o2 offer around the country? I assume I could still connect to my wifi at home with paying anything extra?!
Wifi is a phone feature, it is totally free since you're connecting to your own network which you already pay your ISP for.
Yeah, that's the downfall.
You just gotta weigh up your options mate. Would you rather lose
Orange pay monthly (sim card only 30 days roll on)
unlimited free texts to UK network & landlines (FUP 3,000 texts per month)
200 minutes free calls to UK network & landlines
unlimited internet (FUP 1Gb per month on bundle add-on)
