    Hi,

Just trying to convert a few xvids to play on my desire. What software does everyone use for the job? I've heard good things about Free Video Converter but wouldn't mind paying for a superior application. If anyone uses Free Video Converter could they advise on the best settings to use for the desire?

    Thanks.

If ever I want video on my Desire I use DoubleTwist. From their website:
This works fine for me, and is a total no-brainer.

Does double twist work with HD Bluray rips? and is the result an HD movie on your desire?

I use super video converter for all my video conversion needs, assuming you know correct settings or can figure them out. It's entirely free too, and can convert using a number of codecs and write the file to a large number of containers, such as .avi, .mp4

    http://www.erightsoft.org/GetFile.php?SUPERsetup.exe
That is the download link cause it's hell to find on the actual site.

    SUPER &copy
    This is the general URL.
