Let me start off by saying I have been an Android user since before day 1 as I got my hands on a G1 about a month before they were released to the public because my company was involved in some of the packaging. Over the years I have owned nearly every rendition of the Samsung Galaxy line. Recently while on vacation I lost my Galaxy S6. There were no T-Mobile stores where I was traveling so I decided to pick up a cheap prepaid burner phone for the rest of my travel and figured I would pick up a new Galaxy 6 or 7 when I get home. I walked into a 7 Eleven and all they had were flip phone, I walked next door to a Walgreen's and they had a decent selection, they actually had a T-Mobile prepaid phone so I picked that up. My hope was that I could call T-Mobile customer care and they could activate the prepaid SIM to my existing number. I called T-Mobile and 5 minutes later I was back up and running with my phone number and access to all my SMS, Thanks T-Mobile! The phone is called a Coolpad Rogue, Android 5.1, 4 inch screen smaller screen than a Galaxy S6, not quite as fast but all in all not a bad phone for $35(plus 400 free minutes if needed). It has great battery life and actually a couple features that I actually wish my Samsung had. Don't get me wrong there are a few things I hate about it too. I am not telling anyone to dump their Samsung and run out and buy a Coolpad but if any of you ever find yourself in need of a quick cheap phone as I did you can't go wrong. I will definitely keep this thing around for a future backup phone.

Sorry for being so long winded, the only point I was trying to make is that you can get a lot of phone for under $40 these days.

I'll keep that in mind. Thank you for the tip. It probably will come in handy sooner or later.
