Help Copy and Paste Email to a Text message?

Hi all,

I just got my EVO 4g yesterday and I'm wondering if it's possible to copy an email message to a text message?
Sorry if this has already been asked, but I searched and could not find anything.

are you using gmail or the stock messaging app?

in gmail you hit menu, select text and then use your finger to make selection, then copy

go to your messaging and long press in the text input area and hit paste. I imagine that the stock email app works similarly but have not used it in months
