Is there a way to backup/copy my current Incredible to the replacement one I received? Picutres/sms/email settings would be the main things I need copied since I have my contacts on my computer.

I dont think there is. I have been in search for something like this but you need root to make a backup rom so i understand.

you can try mybackpro or sprite backup which could help with some of your backup needs but not an exact backup.

    good luck

Well if you put your pics on an SD card, they will be copied over.
If your contacts are "google contacts", they will be copied over as soon as you sync.
If you are using gmail for your email, these will be copied as soon as you sync with your contacts.

yeah .. but it would be nice if we could backup everything, all the customizations, apps downloaded etc ... similar to a disk image. Maybe a future version of Android will support that .. it would make transfer to a replacement phone much less painful.
