Is there any way - or any app - that allows me to copy text from a gmail e-mail and paste somewhere else (like in a text message)?

    Thanks!

I don't know of a way to currently do this. Froyo comes with enhanced gmail. I believe copy/paste is one of the features.

You can use either the gmail mobile version or full web portal from your browser. There is a "select text" under menu>more in the browser. That places the text on your clipboard. Anything that will accept paste can then use it.

Hold down the shit key and move your finger left to right or right to left and it should highlight. Its a pain and takes some getting used to but it works.
