Couple of questions I cant find the answers to
Droid X, 2.2, 2.3.15
1) When I text horizontally I have to hit the "done" button before I can hit "send" botton, this is not the case when I text vertically, it annoying, can this be changed?
2) My DX lags considerably, much more than my previous Droid 1. Is this normal for this phone?

1. dont think it can be changed.
2. you should not have any lag. are you running any home replacements or launchers?

None, I like to keep apps to a minimum. Same apps I had on the droid 1 with little to no issues.

I'm using swiftkey on handcent and when texting horizontal I can hit send directly

To help with the lag, try reformatting your SD card and also clear system cache. When I cleared my cache I noticed my X being more responsive.
