In the internet settings menu, there is an option of Open in background - Open new windows behind the current one.

It comes unchecked by default, but it doesn't seem to make any difference when I manually open new windows.

Was just wondering what it actually does really. :D

Second question is related to the stock PDF viewer. How do you delete your previous searches? I was browsing the user manual (ironically for information to question #1) and don't seem to be able to delete the key words I searched for.

I already have HistoryEraser downloaded and it doesn't have an option for the PDF viewer.

I see this has stumped everybody else as well. The same applies to the TapaTalk app - there doesn't seem to be a way to delete any forum I have searched for.

Open in background makes no difference on mine either.

If you have the option enabled, the windows will not get focus as soon as they are opened. You'll have to manually view them.
Otherwise your opened windows will be shown to you immediately.

They automatically gain focus on mine, no matter what the setting is set to. Unless it doesn't work when you go Menu>Window?

How else do you open windows?

Are you long tapping and selecting 'Open in New Window'?
