Creating a Folder

Hi
I wish to use my Galaxy Note 10.1, N8010 for work.
I wish to produce, in Polaris, a word document which I then wish to save an external SD card. However, I wish to have seperate folders and have no idea how to create a folder.

You wish to create folders on your sd card? Can you either use a file browser such as ES File Explorer to do that, or plug your phone into your computer, open your ext. sd card and create a folder via computer?
