I'm running the unofficial CM10 build. When I installed it, I had a shortcut to contacts on my home screen. I removed it from the home screen and don't know how to get it back.

I'm willing to manually add it to some configuration file if I have to, but don't know when to start.

    Any help would be appreciated.

    Greetings tomeckip,

    Welcome to the forums.

While I'm not familiar with CM10, your could try a couple of things.

    1. Go into your applications folder.
    2. Long press on your contacts app
    3. Usually it either gives you a option to drag it to the home screen of your choosing, or it automatically puts the shortcut on the home screen.

    Or...

    1. Long press on the home screen you wish to put the shortcut on.
    2. There is usually a option for shortcuts.
    3. Browse through until you find your contacts, then select that.

Hope this helps, like I said, I don't have any experience with CM10
