Ok so ever since i hooked up my ascend to my windows 7 phone VIA USB my windows 7 auto play will not work. so i did a bit of trouble shooting and found out it is my phone doing it why? here is steps i did i rebooted the computer did not plug my phone in to PC all day. Threw out the day every time i plugged in a usb thumb drive up comes the USB auto play asking me what to do with the drive. so at the end of the day i plugged in my phone and low and behold the usb auto play feature of windows 7 quit working again. why dose it do this anyone experienced this issue before and how do i fix it. for now i have removed the phone drivers and not plugged in phone to computer since.

delete the usb driver for the phone and reinstall, also do you have a custom rom install or are you on stock...

Here is what possibly happened. The last that it worked properly you may have selected do nothing at the auto play prompt and accidentally checked the Do This Always box (or whatever it says). You will have to go into Windows and change the setting there if that is the case. I don't remember exactly where it is and no where near a 7 machine to check right now.
