I am using Kingsoft Office and want to work with a csv file. However when I import or paste a csv file, it just streams across the screen, all in cell A1. It is comma filled, but KS Office spreadsheet sems not to parse it corrtectly. The windows versio apparently has a "data to columns" option , but this does not show in the android version

    So two questions:
    (1) CAN KS Office use csv file in Android?
    (2) If not, is there an app that converts csv files to xls in Android? I found an app that could open and save csv files (Simple Spreadsheet) but seems unable to save as anything but csv again. I even tried copying and pasting into KSOffice from Simple Spreadsheet, but the result is the same as pasting from the original csv file.

    Thanks for any help

    Seems pretty clear to me

I just tested with a CSV on my device, and it opens up just fine in Kingsoft Office. Do you perhaps have a test .csv that I could try out to make sure it's not a file-formatting issue?

    Thanks for the reply.

HA! Just an hour ago I (almost accidentally) successfully opened the file in KSO. Until then I had been trying to place it into an existing spreadsheet in various ways and failing. Now I can open it, I will just copy and paste the cells into my other file.
