Hello, I have a question. I oftenly am I using mobile data as a way to stay online, but at the school I am using wifi. So my question is: will my battery life be more conservated if I disable mobile data, but still set network tipe to WCDMA? Or is it better to keep mobile data disabled and at GSM?

It depends what the 3G coverage at your school is like. The phone will be using the cellular signal for telephony even when using WiFi for data. If your 3G signal strong then it will make no difference, possibly even be slightly better to leave it on 3G. If it is weak the phone will have to work harder to maintain a connection and so use more power. Especially if it is so weak that it drops out and has to switch cells or switch down to 2G - doing that constantly will drain a lot of power. So if your signal is OK leave it alone, if your 3G signal is weak and 2G is noticeably better then put it in GSM-only if battery is your priority.

Ok, thanks for detailed feedback. My 3G signal is 3/5 so this way I think it will be better. Now. Because I am rooted and using Automate I have also installed that when I'm on wifi - my data goes like 2G. Seems I need to redefine my flows. Thank you very much. Oh. And what about 4G case? My phone battery decreased always at greater impact when on 4G?
